all i know about is that they were imported from GDR and together 2 main engines generate 2640hp

and this tag says it all(this remote control system is made in Karl-Marx-Stadt dont know if the main engine is from the same place though)

because i just found this picture
in which the throttles are identical to those of yangtze ships except marked in cyrillic
assuming that the same kind of engine system must be installed on russian vessels too
so i'd appreciate if anybody know this system and engine can actually provide me with detailed description of it
