Polza was ione of the largest company on the Volga et the end of 1850s,
but early in 1860 goes bancrout.

They posess 1858 the following tugs:

KAZAN 1856 built Vyksa 60nhp
MUROM 1856 built Vyksa 60nhp
CHEREPOVETS ex VERA 1857 built St.Petersburg re-assembled in Tver 30nhp
SAMARA 1858 built Tver 100nhp
SARATOV 1858 built Tver 120nhp
SIMBIRSK 1858 Tbuilt ver 60nhp (engine reported built by Thomson & Boyd, Newcastle)
KALYAZIN 1858 built Tver 45nhp
UGLICH 1858 built Tver 45nhp
MOLOGA 1855 built Sormovo 60 nhp (120nhp ?)
SHEKSNA 1855 built Sormovo 60 nhp
moreover 30 barges.

but I have found that in 1850 Cockerill in Belgium built two tugs for Cie Polza, St.Petersburg
#25 STRELNA 1850 132bm 135x14x2ft 60nhp
#26 MOLONYA 1850 132bm 135x14x2ft 60nhp
I have not found them in any lists.

Was it the same Polza company, were these tugs really delivered.

Output - 180 hp

Both MOLOGA and SHEKSNA are already listed in 1860 as owned by "Polza"
By 1869 they foun new owners

MOLOGA was then listed as
1869 VULKAN Gornoe vedomstvo (Volga)

SHEKSNA was then listed as
1869 KOSTROMICH KOMMISAROV Chernov (Volga)

Not listed in 1874

Perheps could you help me in any way to obtain/purchse the book abour Krasnoe Sormov?
